Overview
At Grab A Table, we believe in providing flexible subscription options for our venue partners. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancelling your Grab A Table venue management subscription.
Free Trial Period
All new venue subscriptions include a free trial period:
- First 100 customers: 3 months free trial (1 month standard + 2 months early adopter bonus)
- After first 100: 1 month free trial
- You can cancel anytime during the trial period with no charges
- Credit card required at signup - you'll only be charged after your trial ends
- Full access to all features during the trial period
Cancelling Your Subscription
How to Cancel
You can cancel your Grab A Table subscription at any time through:
- Your venue owner dashboard under "Payment & Licenses"
- Clicking "Manage Billing" which takes you to the Stripe customer portal
- Contacting our support team at [email protected]
Cancellation Terms
When you cancel your subscription:
- Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period
- You will not be charged for any subsequent billing periods
- No cancellation fees or penalties apply
- You can reactivate your subscription at any time
- Your venue data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation
Refund Policy
Standard Refunds
We offer a straightforward refund policy:
- Pro-rata refunds: Not available for partial month usage
- Billing errors: Full refund if you were incorrectly charged
- Service issues: Refunds considered on a case-by-case basis for prolonged service disruptions
- Processing time: Refunds typically processed within 5-10 business days
Trial Period Cancellations
If you cancel during your free trial:
- No charges apply as the trial is completely free
- No credit card is required during the trial period
- Your access ends immediately upon cancellation during trial
Subscription Changes
You can modify your subscription instead of cancelling:
- Adding licenses: Purchase additional venue licenses at £24/month each
- Removing licenses: Unassign and remove licenses; changes take effect at next billing cycle
- Pausing service: Cancel and reactivate when ready (no pause feature available)
Account Termination
What Happens After Cancellation
Once your subscription ends:
- Your venue listings will be removed from public search
- You will lose access to the booking management system
- Existing reservations will be honored, but no new bookings accepted
- Your data is retained for 30 days for potential reactivation
- After 30 days, data may be permanently deleted (backup for legal compliance)
Reactivating Your Account
You can reactivate your subscription at any time:
- Log in to your account and navigate to Payment & Licenses
- Within 30 days: All your data will be restored automatically
- After 30 days: You may need to re-enter your venue information
- Standard pricing applies (no additional trial period)
Payment Failures
If a payment fails:
- We'll attempt to charge your card up to 3 times over 7 days
- You'll receive email notifications about failed payment attempts
- Your service will continue during the retry period
- After 3 failed attempts, your subscription will be automatically cancelled
- Update your payment method in the Stripe customer portal to prevent cancellation
Special Circumstances
We understand that exceptional situations arise:
- Business closures due to unforeseen circumstances may warrant special consideration
- Extended service outages on our part will be credited to your account
- Contact our support team to discuss your specific situation
- We handle each case with understanding and flexibility
Venue Table Booking Cancellations
⚠️ Important Distinction
This policy does not cover the cancellation of table reservations made by customers at your venue. Each venue sets their own cancellation policy for table bookings.
For Venue Owners: You can set your own cancellation policy for customer table reservations through your venue management dashboard. We recommend clearly communicating your policy to customers at the time of booking.
For Customers: Please review the specific venue's cancellation policy displayed during the booking process, as each venue has different terms and requirements for table reservation cancellations.
